Scrub Theatre Nurse - Join Synergy Medical

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Scrub Theatre Nurses to join our team at Synergy Medical. In this role, you will:

Prepare the operating theatre, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready.

Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supporting throughout procedures.

Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations, following surgical team instructions.

Assist with patient draping and de-gowning.

Complete accurate documentation and hand over patients safely to recovery.

Please note: duties may vary depending on location and your skill set (to be discussed during recruitment).

Requirements

Valid NMC registration.

Minimum of 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the scrub sector.

Ability to provide a clinical reference and employment history covering the last 3 years.

Enhanced DBS (or documents to apply for one).

Proof of right to work in the UK.

The successful candidate will provide safe, high-quality perioperative care and work as an integral member of the theatre team during major orthopaedic procedures. Responsibilities will include preparing the operating theatre, checking surgical instruments and equipment, maintaining strict aseptic and sterile techniques, assisting surgeons throughout procedures, anticipating surgical requirements and ensuring patient safety at all times.
