Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting experienced Oncology Nurses to work within the Oncology and Chemotherapy department of a well-established private hospital in Leicester.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate and patient-centred care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy. Responsibilities will include assessing patients, planning and delivering individualised nursing care, safely administering and monitoring chemotherapy treatments, monitoring patients for treatment-related side effects and complications, maintaining accurate clinical records, and working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for professional, reliable and experienced Oncology Nurses who are confident working in a busy oncology and chemotherapy environment and committed to delivering high standards of patient care.
RequirementsCurrent NMC registrationPrevious UK hospital experience requiredRecent Oncology nursing experience requiredPrevious chemotherapy experience requiredExperience administering and monitoring chemotherapy treatmentsPrevious experience working within an Oncology/Chemotherapy departmentGood knowledge of oncology nursing practices, chemotherapy protocols and patient safetyStrong clinical, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to recognise and respond appropriately to treatment-related side effects and complicationsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred careRight to work in the UKShifts AvailableWe offer flexible shift options to suit your availability:
